Jake, Trixie, and Spud must transport a wild mystical unicorn from Coney Island to Central Park during holiday rush hour.
Jake, Trixie, and Spud were in a train to go have fun on their free day of school. They decided to go to carnival; they had fun and go on rides. Jake suddenly saw a sign that said that they have a unicorn, Trixie said that it is just a horse in a custom with a horn, Spud said to her thanks for ruining the fun. When they go inside they saw a person that spits fire, and then they saw a unicorn, Jake noticed that the unicorn is real. When they left, Jake called Fu Dog and he told Jake that he had to get the unicorn back with its herd. When they went inside again, Trixie and Spud distracted one of the carnies, the unicorn made a noise and the carnies noticed that the kids were trying to take the unicorn, Jake, Trixie and Spud left with the unicorn. While Trixie and Spud took the unicorn, Jake turned dragon and distracted them. When Jake went back for the Trixie and Spud, they were all in middle of the road, Trixie finally got the Unicorn to move and they go really fast, they gone through the race horse tracks. When Jake and Trixie and Spud lost the carnies, they go to the forest where they leave the unicorn to go with its herd. The unicorn leaves and Jake apologizes about having a bad day, Trixie and Spud disagree and tell him that it was the best day ever, the episode ends on that.
In the show, it is said that it is Memorial Day 2006, and that there would be a full moon. In actuality, there wasn't a full moon that night.
An early script showed that Professor Rotwood was originally going to appear in this episode.
"Flight of the Unicorn" is the second segment of the thirteenth episode of season one and the sixteenth episode overall.
